Terms of Service

Acceptable use

You may browse, purchase, and install scenes for use in your own projects. You may not resell or redistribute scenes as standalone assets, attempt to bypass payment or access controls, upload malicious code, or infringe anyone's intellectual property.

Creators are responsible for the scenes they submit and warrant that they have the right to publish them. All submissions are manually reviewed before they go live.

Fees and creator earnings

Scenes are sold in US dollars. On each paid sale the buyer pays the scene price plus a $0.30 processing fee.

The platform retains 30% of the scene price plus the $0.30 fee; the remaining 70% of the scene price is credited to the creator's earnings ledger.

License grants

Free scenes are licensed under the MIT license.

Purchasing a paid scene grants the buyer a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use that scene in their own Remotion projects. It does not grant the right to redistribute or resell the scene as a standalone asset.

Payouts

Creator earnings accrue to a ledger. Once your balance reaches the $50 payout threshold you may request a payout of your full balance. Payouts are reviewed and paid manually, and one payout request may be pending at a time.

Refunds

Refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase. Each request is judged individually by an administrator. When a refund is granted the payment is reversed, the corresponding creator credit is removed, and your access to the scene is revoked.

No warranty

The marketplace and all scenes are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that any scene will meet your needs or work in your project.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the marketplace is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. You may stop using the marketplace and request account deletion at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the platform operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
